Ok, so who is actually gonna see this? I'm kinda tempted but not going on my own for sure or else I'll look like a massive sped lol. I do deep down really want to go see it though as this is what 9 year old me would be having a heart attack over.

I think it comes out tomorrow, loads is leaking already, which I've seen a bit of, as press saw it early and you know how they are with early screenings, but idc as it's the mario movie for christ sakes haha doubt it's that story deep.

So, I just watched the Mario movie. Actually a decent and fun film, some critics whined about it having no deep storyline but it's Super Mario Bros, if you go in extremely something deep and profound then you're a nob. Animation was brilliant, they kept to the source material quite well and made no major changes (only big ones was giving Mario an extended family and making Cranky Kong a king), and the characters were adapted great for the big scene.

Definitely worth a watch if expect nothing more than a silly, fun, and straightforward story.
