Did yoy guys ever watched nostalgic critic or the guys affiliated with "the guy with glasses" websites that later got rebrand as "channel awesome"?

I remember watching nostalgia critic a while ago, at least before he started making content like this

i remember trying to watch them as a kid and not getting it at all. then oneyplays reintroduced them to me and im on/off with them.

plus, it makes for good background noise

I also remember from his website watching that one guy called Master Bate who reviewed Japanese porn games and I swear he did an episode on RapeLay, yeah I still don't know why or how they allowed that guy on there.

lmao yeah that sounds like them. walker and the dudes over there still make videos like that to this day. dude is consistent; same type of videos and content from the moment he started to now. gotta give props for longevity.

also yeah back then they had a laisse faire attitude about things on their own site. it was really just the youtube channel where things where heavily curated and check since it was their main cash cow.

nowadays though its just a small crew after everyone either left due to disinterest with the brand, left the group due to their own reasons, or the Document that outed Walker as a Doritos chewer and that had literally no effect on him lol.

haha nothing that serious (as far as i know), i do know of him being a meh boss and him getting so angry that he chewed doritos on his brother's keyboard when he wasnt there and purposefully left the crumbs on it.

What's with it with these content creators who haven't been irrelevant for like over a decade deciding to do the gender switcheroo? Does the loss of stardom really get to you that bad?

i remember watching anime abandon by bennethesage back in secondary school. its a show that covers anime from the ova era, and its alright when its just anime mst3k, and not bennet trying do media analysis.

I'm ESL (Italian). Me and a friend of mine learned English pretty much through shittalking in TF2 and watching AVGN and Nostalgia Critic videos, we're talking some 12+ years ago. A the time we didn't really care if the jokes hit or worked, we barely understood what the fuck was going on, but loved every minute of it. Good times
