Breakcore In my opinion, the "breakcore" label is cringe. Call it drum and bass or jungle, smh.

I might just be generalising these three labels but putting -core at the end of everything shows how uncreative zoomers are on making up names.

Yeah no I agree, I think the distinction tho with Breakcore is that it's more fast and heavy, and generally melancholic but might be wrong.

Sure, but some of the dnb and jungle I've heard from the 00s does melancholy better, imo. Breakcore, that tends to be frantic, just sounds like it's trying too hard(?), or makes me want to shoot stuff ala Ultrakill, but I can also see it as a metaphor for breaking down, hence "breakcore".

But, eh. It could've been called, if insisting on a new label, breakneck or sum shit.
