Forum Update Does this forum need a layout change?

Last night when I was on a bender with a mate @Tedposter made his thread that brought some interesting criticism to the table.

One is that, for its size, the forum has too many boards. Now this isn't @Tedposter being whiney over nothing, this same criticism was lodged at me by @user not named on the forum's first month of life and its a very valid one as it makes the forum look less active than it actually is, especially if some boards barely get used. So my plan to fix this is to merge some current boards together to make a more collective board(s) and put certain boards into one to fix this.

This is what I have planned so far and I want views on it:
Main boards:
Broken Core
Paranormal Mall
Tune Town
Art & Content Creation
Sub boards:
General
Entertainment

Shoot your own opinions too but I think personally we should do this to give more focus to the main boards and overall increase activity here.

@NekoRightsActivist also mentioned we really need to make this place more unique and not as similar to that other forum which is totally valid too and I will need to think over on how to do this.

Entertainment and Art & Content Creation have some overlap. Perhaps just having one board to discuss art and media where promotion is allowed as well would be enough for now.

I get that but I'd like them separated so it's easier to share art and other people's stuff but I'll keep this in mind as might be a good idea. I'm thinking of combining rules and announcements too

I like user feedback before anything too drastic, it's out of respect for users so I don't rush into it and they can get their view across.

It's only fair, this is a big change and tbh the way the vote and comments are going most people agree anyways but rather hear people out first at least.

The Broken Core
Tune Town
General Discussion
Paranormal, Conspiracy & Current Events
Entertainment & Art

Might still keep art separate tho as it might format weird if I don't in the grid layout, we'll see. Might keep announcement and rules sperated too as I worry that might look shit too as it will be a big button on the grid
