Rich people are already willing to pay 200-300k€ for putting their corpse in a cryosleep. I bet they would be willing to pay 100x that for a "younger self" clone.
In all seriousness, I'm curious what rules / regulations will be for clonning one's mind. I mean, if you were to clone mind from a 90 yo trillionare, there's a serious chance that on top of his physical weakness, he will have some mind issues. I don't think it makes any sense to transfer your mind to different body. If your mind is retarded due to illness.

So what then ? Pay couple mil a year to have an "up to date" snapshot of yourself ? Make one snapshot, let's say around 50 yo and accept the fact that you will lose some of your experience ?
Bit of a wild example but if you have ever played the game SOMA (walking sim, best to play in journo mode) you could see how doing this would be a stupid and upsetting idea.
All science fiction of course.

In reality though, the mind is a formless continuum, the entire sense of a self is a fabrication based on the factors of the mind, the 6 senses. There was no self to being with so all that could be recreated is the capacity for sensory experiences, which I would assume in laymans terms would just mean the clone would just be a new "person" (experiencing existence in a cloned body)
Then of course that person will grow like any other, have its own experiences and be moulded by the internal and external factors into a new being.
