Fascinating game and story behind it. It was essentially the first online 3d chatroom/mmo and is actually still around only because the creator is a patent hog and gets a cut of money from new mmos as long as Worlds stays up, bit shitty but at least it keeps this piece of internet history alive.

tbh i doubt a game like worlds requires a lot of cash to keep running but hey if it keeps the place running then so be it

i have been a "phonk" music spiel for a decent bit right now and idk why but brazilian phonk seems to hit the right notes for me. also why is this even classified phonk. seems like phonk is being used for a catchall term for anything with snares, drums, claps and made in FL studio with said song being well versed for edits.

not normally a fank of rap music (can this be considered rap music? more of a hip hop/funk song with some rap elements but ehh idk im not a rap guy so idk) but this song is too damn funky to ignore

Found this cool artist on YT, posting tracks that are using some cool sounds that bring me back to PS2 and DS soundtracks of the like, not to mention he's helping sate my JJK obsession atm.












Also this has been blowing up lately and thus was brought to my attention, the piglet PS2 game basically being Silent Hill but for kids, at least in terms of soundtrack.



Finally, I don't like breakcore at all really - I often feel like genuinely fantastic ambiences are then ruined by a drumbeat that was not meant for them at all and utterly ruins them.

This last track does not feel that way at all, it feels like it was perfectly designed for it, it feels like an actual PS2/Gamecube menu/character select screen. And I am all for it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yl49jbn8uz8

man this piglet's big game sounds like a few albums ive heard from Cryo Chamber and their peeps. crazy to think some child would have played this game, and gotten spooked from it lol.
