Who fucking watches these?
Personally I could take an hour-long video about a videogame, but 99% of these videos are complete slop aimed at 4 year olds

holy shit ive been watching shitty creepypastas in my freetime and so far my fucking youtube rec has been shilling me the most sloppiest fucking gruel of content known to man , all i see are white guys talking about some random gay fucking topic for like 40 minutes and holy shit its so annoying

video essays are pretty much just background noise so you can play it whilst eating or playing some shitty video game , the only reason they spread out the topic so much is that the algorithm bumps shitty videos with like 20+ minutes so they intentionally drag the topic over 30 , 40 , to 1 hour plus minutes of just pure fucking slop.

video essays are pretty much just background noise so you can play it whilst eating or playing some shitty video game , the only reason they spread out the topic so much is that the algorithm bumps shitty videos with like 20+ minutes so they intentionally drag the topic over 30 , 40 , to 1 hour plus minutes of just pure fucking slop.

I sometimes like listening to those youtube drama essay videos with titles like "POOPUS DOOMPUS: GROOMER, RAPIST, TERRORIST" when I'm doing stuff and really need background noise, absolute slop of content but I enjoy listening to how people have stupidly ruined their lives now and then.

i respect the long winded autism bouts of real long form content. any person can just blabber about something they like for 30-40 minutes, add in some mediocre editing and call it a day, but for the 2, 3, or even longer hour content made by autists with passion and definitively too much time on the internet? i can respect that

i will absolutely prefer a kingdom hearts fan who probably has aspergers number #13205 and his 18 hour video on every single kingdom hearts game broken down to autistic detail vs wow another shitty youtuber with the disgusting mullet and pedo mustache and 20 face tattoos reading off their phone (wikipedia) about the newest cool thing they found, all the while having a green screen behind them, and holding up a microphone while lo-fi, copyright free beats are playing in the background.

you already know of a couple channels describing the latter, but the former? very rare.

The mullet and mustache has become a great indicator in the last few years in flagging down people who shouldn't be taken seriously or have opinions at all really, may more idiots who think the combo looks cool grow them so it's easier for everyone to identify these "people".
