Im curious
I don't mind Sewerslvt but I know certain people don't like their stuff and some don't even consider it proper Breakcore. To be honest I think Jvnko's music is pretty alright and feel most of the hate towards it comes from their controversial past.

Breakcore purists will say its atmospheric DnB which I see and understand, but at the same time the barebones definitely for breakcore also applies to this ambient dnb they say sewerslvt is which is kinda confusing.

In the end who cares, one could argue all breakcore is DnB since Breakcore is literally a sub genre of it; your average normie wouldn't even be able to tell the difference.

Breakcore and DnB community in general is funny on how it argues and tries to define what album belongs to what genre when ultimately so many genres overlap that it gets to the point of who cares? If you wanna call your album breakcore and it meets the basic requirements to belong in the genre then why not?

Yea I get that but most people will literally attack you in the comments if you use a pad with reverb lmao

I enjoy sewerslvt but art discourse (and particularly music) is kind of insufferable. Purists are often the most annoying kind of people and genres can evolve and become something else entirely that their naming schemes break under an attempt to classify something mercurial because it comes from something outside of strict logic. So yeah sewerslvt doesn't fit breakcore then but that's fine. If people try to make sense of everything it makes them miserable.
