Fiction, generally. I don't really stick to any one genre so I've got some sci-fi in the works, a fantasy story, and a contemporary piece with low fantasy elements as well.

I would, if it weren't for the fact that all my writing is still on physical paper. I don't transfer to digital until the second draft.

I very much enjoy computers and other tech-related shit. I tend to play old-ass arena shooters like Quake 3.
Other times I play fighting games.

On a serious note, I'm more so just a random internet anon, who spends most of his time is spent discussing on internet forums and changing something on my Linux installation to save 3 frames. I like pens and pencils though :D

Hi, I'm just a guy who is into games and CGI. I'm known for my assets, mods, and modding documentation for Cities: Skylines. I also make music but that took a backseat once I got a job as a 3D artist in gamedev, it's hard to do anything else on top of work - not enough time or energy.

I remember seeing a webm about this forum on 4chan months ago - it said something like "miss the old internet?", I didn't check it out back then but it stuck in my mind. I've felt more and more isolated because of the current social climate, tired of people pushing their politics everywhere and controlling who can say what, so I thought I would give this place a chance.

I realize this is not a gaming-centered forum but I am thinking what my next hobby project could be since I quit making Cities: Skylines stuff years ago and have barely done anything since then. I'm considering making a retro-style total conversion mod project for GTA:SA, it would be inspired by the gloomy aesthetics of GTA III but located in an early 2000s post-soviet eastern european city/region, and I think it would be cool to have a place to post my progress (since gtaforums is operated by dictators just like most places these days) and thought maybe this could be that place. My favorite games are GTA III, Max Payne 1 & 2, Mafia 1 & 2, Half-Life 1 & 2, Mirror's Edge. I play games for escapism, so to me atmosphere and immersion is the most important thing, so it would be cool to create my own world which encompasses that nostalgic vibe.

Welcome to the forum! It's always nice to see other creators join our little community here. If you'd like, feel free to create a thread showing off some of the stuff you've worked on. I'm sure many of our members would love to see it.

The forum may not be "gaming-centered" per se, but we are currently thinking of ways to rebrand and revitalize this place and one of the ways we're considering doing that is by becoming more "creator focused". I've personally always felt like the internet need a place where creators could go to discuss, collaborate and post about their works without the tyrannical, censorship heavy moderation that's ever-present on the modern day web.

If you know any other mod makers, devs, artists etc who are tired of needing to hold their tongue just to post their work without getting banned, please let them know about this place.

Sorry for the late response. Usually, it is just whatever I feel like writing down that day. If I have even so much as a singular thought, I will have likely written it down either on pen/paper or computer.
