Gaming Fake Smash Bros Rosters (and leaks)

So this morning on Twitter I saw the above meme and it gave me inspiration to create this thread. Fake Smash Bros rosters at this point are an ancient meme that I'm glad to still see around to this day, though now they are more satirical than trying to convince stupid kids Goku somehow got into Smash.

I remember back in 2008 looking online and finding images like this, and thinking there was a layer of legitimacy to them as I had no idea how photoshop worked; a simpler time. There was millions of them too and with Sonic and Snake opening the floodgates to who could get into Smash, people got real creative with these ideas. The fake leaks around the Smash4 era deserve credit for the much more effort put into them too, who can forget the Grinch "leaks"?
