Im not really a political person but ill tend to watch random shit out of shear boredom and just to burn time.that being said, I was watching a video about soviet russia and how they attempted to engineer special plants that could survive the Siberian wilderness , and something that struck me extremely odd is the verbiage and reasoning the soviets used around the spaces of genealogy and general science in the USSR .They had a remarkable similarity to the reasoning the modern left uses in the west , in some cases the soviet union scientists would actively deny genealogy as it didn't promote the communist doctrines that the soviet union wanted. Genetics being that everyone has innate traits set at birth that they're good at, this obviously actively goes against the communist ideas of the USSR of extreme collectivism and unified equal people. What I find the most remarkable is that the soviet union actively denied the truth to further their ideological agenda. This is incredibly similar to leftists typically denying certain truths to further their ideological goals, in issues such as gender , immigration , certain civil liberties ETC, and its not that the right doesn't do this either, as the right is inherently based on that which we cannot prove (religion ,instinct,traditionalism,etc) , its that the western lefts verbiage and reasoning is strangely indistinguishable to the soviet union's. You may say that they're similar ideologies and thus would naturally adapt the same mannerisms , but the western and eastern left are very distinct in their goals and properties. Eastern left is a more collectivist and atheistic ideology as if attempting to counteract the fascist and european ideas of the 1800s enlightenment era. The western left is an individualistic ideology that explores personal freedom and spirituality over inherent concrete doctrines .Knowing this there should be a clear cultural disconnect with mannerisms , but there simply isn't. They both use the same buzzwords and insults despite being two separate entities . But thats just food for thought its interesting to think about.
