If you haven't heard, once again a branch of the British government has made an effort to make life even more miserable and oppressive on this small and once great nation. Essentially the tl;dr for this new bill is not only does it work together with current British hate crime bill, which nabs people for putting up stickers (https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-leeds-68448867), but has the new addition of arresting those who are seen as stirring up hatred towards protected groups, and these groups are as follows:
• age
• disability
• religion
• sexual orientation
• transgender identity
• variations in sex characteristics

As you can already guess this is going to be abused by the British state to harass those who have no no opinions on topics they don't like being discussed and is just another attack on what is claimed to be liberal democracy where everyone's point of view matters. They have even done promotional material for this ridiculous new initiative:

Free Speech is an important value in almost all societys, esspecially liberal democracy, if we are not allowed to feel hatred towards people who do wrong (EX. Muslim Refugees Raping children in scandinavia, aboriginals in austrailia committing severe grades of crime, or Immigrants replacing the general populaton) NOR are we allowed to dissent or protest/complain against it, that is completely wrong, and gets us nowhere but falling

Hate Speech is Free Speech,
if im not allowed to show hate for someone who Steals, Robs, lives a barbaric uncivilized life, then they dont address those issues, i will have a problem with it.
