Lets discuss how technology and the internet is destroying society.

I don't know about you but I have watched rapid societal decay occur right before my eyes with the introduction of technology into our daily lives and the creation of social media, particularly Tiktok. While the advent of technology has streamlined many corporate and government processes and made certain facets of our lives easier, it has also had a profound effect on us as individuals. Each new generation becomes exponentially more weak intellectually, physically and emotionally. If you compare the average teenage boy of the 1960's to the vaxxed out, porn-and-gambling (video game) addicted, shut-ins of today there is a noticeable difference. Instead of doing their duties, modern parents have resorted to the electric nipple to keep there children entertained, exposing their subconscious mind to god knows what.

They will not seethe. They will cope, adapt, purchase, eat it up like good cattle they are, and scream "thank you", because ultimately there is no real way of protesting against a corporation aside from just not using their products.
They will shove everything down your throat without the ability to say "no", and when you do it anyway? They cut off your services. Look how they fucked the Win7. Win10 will be next when Microsoft realizes that nobody wants to eat a piece of shit that is Win11. Shutting superior, older products down in favor of inferior, newer ones, installing mandatory updates that make everything objectively worse in every single way and not even putting out anything new, just a downgrade. Only thing that is worth doing out here at that point would be spreading piracy and helping it in every way.

Kaczynski called out the consequences right, but its hard to see his hypothetical solutions as applicable. With human nature, industrialization is more of an inevitability rather than having "chose the wrong path." To argue against societal and technical progression, good or bad, would be to deny the human spirit's craving for progress. I think if we want to change our direction away from our painfully slow approaching dystopia, collectively, we're going to have to have a change in mindset, while learning how to interact with tech in a "healthy" manner. In the scope of our terminally online generation, embracing actual human connection in the real world, "touching grass," is a good start.
