I was picking food for me and a lady said hi to me. I said hi back, and went back to pick food. She said to me "you dont like to talk to muh, right?" in a jokingly way. I reply to her with a awkward "no".

Would responding with “not always” be more polite?

i don't think there's a way to know what's "more polite" to a large degree because of how subjective it is, especially now in the land of absolute self-confusion.

given the context she was trying to either fuck with you or engage in conversation .if its the former honestly thats pretty much the best answer , if its the latter you may be too autistic to be redeemed. either ropemaxx or find a suffient cope until you eventually ropemaxx.
