Microsoft’s New Majorana 1 Processor Could Transform Quantum Computing

The processor uses qubits that can be measured without error and are resistant to outside interference, which the company says marks a “transformative leap toward practical quantum computing.”

Another interesting technological development today, Microsoft has a new chip apparently which should bring us closer to quantum computing, apparently they have managed to contain a new particle that can do some fancy stuff and whatever, to be honest I ain't looked too much into this story but sounded interesting enough to share. Also its name "Majorana", remind you of someone?

I'm still team google when it comes to quantum computing. They refine known methods instead of pulling a "ummm yes so akchually" shit out of nowhere
