I hope this places forums keeps the retro, r2k and bright colors 3d themes going. I was born in 99 I remember everything being bright colors and the silk looking computer texture on the internet. Even physical technology and scene wave matched it. It's to bad the internet took the simplicity look I absolutely hate it and think it's a huge let down. I still have lots of those 2000s image pictures of future predictions or those early 2010s phone apps and textures. Besides performance wise only a idiot would agree with the simplicity internet interface. I literally only use 4chan, YouTube and reddit for information mostly. If anyone watched social media and the modern internet grow you know the old internet and 2.0 net was full of hope and creativity. With all that said I do enjoy this place

The greatest website I ever saw the Fauux's Lain Neocities page. I've been chasing that high to the point of modifying my own version of dwm and st in order to pimp my PC with that same look. I keep a CRT monitor hooked up too so I can enjoy certain sites, anime and games in a more appropriate form factor. My dream is to buy a nice 1080i widescreen CRT and replace my LCD display on my PC. Anyways this was just an excuse to show off my riced desktop!

I wish my wiki was still in this style but it wouldn't be very fitting for an Elder Scrolls modding guide to have the look and I'd rather my wiki have a purpose than exist souly to play around with web design.

My desktop has like 10 billion folders my HDD is FULL with random code and unfinished projects as well as games that I will most likely never play again I simply cannot have a clean desktop no matter how hard I try

It's a nice site it's red and dark gold and black it has its own vibe I prefer more 3D classic looking colors and shades. Still a good interface if you are curious about lain I'm sure your aware there is lain 4chan known as lainchan

Also the porn use to be much better like tumbler girls selfies with the grin or high contrast I still mainly look at those. It was just a more free time on the internet and a slight disconnect. Old YouTube like zyzz and those other creative people there cams were still separate from reality. I'm at the point I don't even get new media besides emo SoundCloud or hyper pop everything else coming out new is trash I listened to the radio at the families the other day. They are still playing 2013 music on the radio I heard a few newer songs? Party life is dead that's for sure

Amen to this, eventually you'll just get to the point you can't find what you're looking for and your data just becomes annoying to look at when you're not even sure what this or that file is suppose to be.
